Nepal–China Diplomatic Ties Celebrated with Special Photo Exhibition in Kathmandu

Kathmandu – A special photo exhibition was organized in Kathmandu to mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and China. The exhibition was inaugurated by former Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and Chinese Ambassador Chen Song. Organized by the Girija Prasad Koirala Foundation for Democracy, Peace, and Development, the exhibition was titled “Legacy of Friendship: 70 Years of Nepal–China Relations in Photographs”. It showcased around 100 rare historical photographs highlighting high-level visits, diplomatic moments between the two countries, cultural exchanges, and more. The event was attended by Sujata Koirala, Chairperson of the Girija Prasad Koirala Foundation; Nepali Congress leaders Shekhar Koirala and Shashank Koirala; and President of the Nepal-China Friendship Forum, Dr. Kalyan Raj Sharma
