inDrive Successfully Concludes ‘Rides For Goals’ Campaign

Kathmandu – Global mobility and urban services platform inDrive has successfully concluded its “Rides For Goals” campaign in Kathmandu, marking a meaningful contribution to local education and youth development through enhanced playground infrastructure and access to sports equipment.
The initiative, which ran throughout May, channeled 10 percent of every third ride’s fare toward renovating playgrounds in selected public primary schools and providing sports kits to encourage physical activity among children. The funds supported the creation of safe and engaging recreational spaces and the distribution of basketballs, futsal balls, and badminton rackets to students.
“At inDrive, we believe mobility should empower and uplift communities,” said Pavit Nanda Anand, APAC Communications Lead at inDrive. “‘Rides For Goals’ reflects our commitment to social impact by directly supporting the health and development of schoolchildren through better play environments. We are proud to help create spaces where children can learn teamwork, build confidence, and grow through play.”
Mark Tolley, Regional Director for Asia Pacific, emphasized the power of everyday actions: “This initiative is a great example of how something as simple as booking a ride can make a tangible difference. We’re committed to projects that create lasting value in communities, and ‘Rides For Goals’ is just one step toward ensuring that every child has access to the joy and benefits of play.”
The campaign aligns with inDrive’s broader mission of challenging social injustice and promoting equity in the communities it serves. As a global platform with operations in over 800 cities across 48 countries, inDrive is widely recognized not only for its ride-hailing and urban services but also for its commitment to social impact. Through initiatives like “Rides For Goals” and its community-focused programs, inDrive is working toward its goal of positively impacting one billion lives by 2030.
The success of the Kathmandu campaign highlights the growing role of purpose-driven business models in addressing local challenges and demonstrates how mobility services can be leveraged to create real, lasting change at the grassroots level.
