Xiaomi Pad 7 and Redmi Pad 2 Opens for Pre-Booking in Nepal

Kathmandu – Xiaomi has officially begun pre-booking for its latest tablets, the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Redmi Pad 2, in Nepal, aiming to offer high-performance devices at accessible prices. With powerful internals, advanced displays, and Xiaomi’s new HyperOS 2 operating system, both tablets are expected to raise the bar for entertainment, productivity, and connectivity in the local market.
Manu Manaswi, Country General Manager of Xiaomi Nepal, emphasized that the launch reflects the brand’s commitment to delivering innovation to all segments of users. He noted that while the Xiaomi Pad 7 is tailored for professionals and content creators, the Redmi Pad 2 is designed to offer a premium experience to everyday users at a more affordable price point.
The Xiaomi Pad 7 is built for power users, featuring a 3.2K resolution display with a 144Hz refresh rate and powered by the Snapdragon® 7+ Gen 3 processor based on 4nm architecture. With HyperAI productivity tools, fast 45W charging for its 8850mAh battery, and professional-grade cameras (13MP rear and 8MP front), it’s aimed at those who need speed and multitasking efficiency. The tablet also supports AI features that enable desktop-style use for work and creative tasks.
In contrast, the Redmi Pad 2 offers an 11-inch 2.5K display with a 90Hz refresh rate and runs on the MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra processor built on 6nm technology. Designed for multimedia consumption and everyday tasks, it comes with a massive 9000mAh battery, ensuring extended use without frequent charging. The device is available in multiple configurations, starting with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage, and sports a sleek metal body in Graphite Gray, Mint Green, and Lavender Purple.
Both devices are equipped with quad speakers and Dolby Atmos® support for an enhanced audio experience. TÜV Rheinland eye-care certification ensures visual comfort during prolonged use, and both tablets run on Xiaomi’s new HyperOS 2, designed for smooth and intuitive performance.
The Redmi Pad 2 is priced at NPR 24,999 for the 6GB+128GB model and NPR 29,999 for the 8GB+256GB model. The Xiaomi Pad 7 comes in at NPR 44,999 for the 8GB+128GB version and NPR 49,999 for 8GB+256GB. The tablets are available in color options including Graphite Gray, Mint Green, and Lavender Purple for the Redmi Pad 2, and Grey, Green, and Blue for the Xiaomi Pad 7.
Pre-booking runs from June 17 to 20 and comes with special promotional offers. Xiaomi Pad 7 buyers can purchase the Keyboard or Focus Pen for just NPR 5,999 (down from the regular price of NPR 7,999), while those who pre-order the Redmi Pad 2 will receive complimentary Redmi Buds 5A.
The new tablets will be available nationwide through all authorized Mi Stores and Xiaomi retail outlets.
