December 17, 2017: Wataniya Airways, a privately owned airlines company of Kuwait, has announced the beginning of its flight operations to Kathmandu from December 13. The starting fare to Kuwait is maintained at NRs 23,000 and provides daily flights to the destination.
With the beginning of this service, Wataniya has become the first airline to provide direct service from Kuwait to Nepal, reads a press statement issued by the company.
This service has been started to connect Kuwaiti people to Nepal for tourism and secondly provide hassle free service to Nepali workers travelling to and fro Kuwait at affordable fares. The airline has announced its starting fare for Kuwait at NRs 23,000.
Wataniya Airways with its three A-320 aircrafts currently flies to 11 destinations across the world.
