July 20, 2017: Nepal Telecom has made various landline telephone services like caller ID, call divert and other supplementary services free to its customers. The offer was announced on July 16.
Some services like self activation and deactivation of ISD service, abbreviated dialing, call divert and call transfer are now free of cost. Also, other services like busy call transfer, no answer transfer, back-up call, call waiting and updating the locking code of phone sets are also made free to the customers.
Customers need to visit the telecom office for the caller ID service while all other services can be activated on their own. The customers need to dial various codes for activation of these services.
