The Lumbini International Peace Festival organized by Nepal Tourism Board, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Nepal, Lumbini Development Trust (LDT), Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC), and Province Sports Council Nepal has begun today.
The Lumbini International Meditation Day was held today from 7-9 am at the Mayadevi Temple. There were more than 400 people who participated. The Chief guest was Hon’ble Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Kaji Shrestha.
Participants got the opportunity to learn meditation techniques and experience the mindfulness, simplicity, and middle path teachings of Buddha.
There will be a Lumbini International Peace Marathon and Lumbini Peace Concert tomorrow i.e. 6th April.
