September 01, 2017 : Hero MotoCorp Ltd (HMCL) has launched its new range of scooters – Maestro Edge and Pleasure – in Nepal.
Nepal General Marketing, the authorised distributor of Hero in Nepal, unveiled the two new models during the NADA Auto Show at Bhrikutimandap on August 29.
Built on a completely new engine and chassis platform, the ‘Maestro Edge’, demonstrates the passion for technology and innovation at Hero. The scooter was first showcased at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo, and since then has been catering to the needs of a global audience.
Launched with the iconic tagline ‘Why should boys have all the fun’, the Pleasure scooter with its clearly defined positioning has captured the imagination of customers for 10 years. Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the scooter, the Pleasure has also been introduced in the market with new style and aesthetic elements.
New Maestro Edge
The all-new Hero Maestro Edge, offers optimum performance with a BS IV compliant 110.9 cc air-cooled, 4-stroke single cylinder OHC engine, producing a maximum power output of 8 BHP @7500 RPM and maximum torque of 8.7 Nm @ 5500 RPM.
The premium scooter comes with unique features, such as key with e-code, mobile charging port, remote seat opening, remote fuel-lid opening, pass switch, service due indicator, side stand indicator and twin parking lamps.
Integrated braking system, telescopic front suspension and bigger 12 inch front wheels offer riding comfort and improved stability.
Hero Maestro Edge comes in three exciting colours – techno blue, candy blazing red and panther black.
The New Maestro Edge will be available across Hero dealerships with a starting price of Rs 181,000
New Pleasure
The well-established Pleasure scooter has gained strong customer traction over the years. Hero MotoCorp informed that it has introduced the ‘Pleasure’ scooter in a brand new Avatar for the women riders in Nepal.
The ultra-stylish new Pleasure offers an optimum performance with a powerful BS-IV compliant 102 cc engine. The air-cooled, 4-stroke single cylinder OHC engine produces a maximum power output of 6.9 BHP (5.15 kW) @ 7000 rpm and maximum torque of 8.1 Nm @5000 rpm.
The youthful new scooter comes with a host of attractive features, such as all time headlamp on (AHO) feature to offer superior safety, mobile charging port, side stand indicator and boot light for added convenience and the Hero-patented ‘integrated braking system’ for riding comfort and improved stability.
The new Pleasure comes with stunning new body graphics and three new vibrant color schemes – fiery red, matte grey, matte grey and white.
The new Pleasure will be available across Hero dealerships with a starting price of Rs 165,500.
