CG Opens Meghauli Serai Jungle Safari Resort in Chitwan
April 7, 2016 : Chaudhary Group has started operation of Meghauli Serai Jungle Lodge under CG Hotels and Resorts in Chitwan National Park. The world renowned Taj Safaris of Taj Hotels and Resorts have taken over the management of the jungle resort.
“Located in bank of the Rapti river, each room and suite of the newly opened jungle resort offers elevated views of the jungle-scape. The resort has a total of 30 rooms with 13 general rooms, 16 villas with private swimming pools and a presidential suite,” CG Hotels and Resorts informed issuing a press statement. According to the company, the new jungle resort aims to serve high profile tourists. “We believe that the alliance will have positive impact in the tourism sector of Nepal,” reads the statement.
The lodge is an international standard jungle safari resort by CG Hotels and Resorts that has been operating hotels and resorts across various parts of the world. “We are operating Meghauli Serai with the objective to increase high quality tourists in Nepal. We believe that it will add a new dimension in Nepali tourism industry,” said Rahul Chaudhary, Executive Director of CG Group and CEO of CG Hotels and Resorts. “We have collaborated with the world renowned Taj Hotels and Resorts to ensure superior quality of services.” Chaudhary claimed that the company has opened Meghouli Serai Jungle Safari Lodge in order to fulfill its commitment of ‘Touching Life Everyday.’ The new jungle resort is easily accessible from Kathmandu by road or by flight. It takes a short 20minute flight from Kathmandu to Bharatpur airport, followed by a 45 minutes or 30 kilometres drive to Meghauli Serai Jungle Lodge in Chitwan National Park. Similarly, it takes nearly five hours to reach the resort by roadway from the capital.
