April 8, 2016: Bhat-Bhateni Supermarket and Departmental Store has opened its 10th branch at World Trade Center, Tripureshwor in Kathmandu. The store was inaugurated in April 9, Saturday. The leading supermarket and departmental store chain in Nepal has total nine branches including eight at Kathmandu and one at Pokhara.
“On the occasion of opening of new store, we are providing 10 percent discount on readymade garments and other goods along with a 5 percent discount on alcoholic beverages of different brands,” the company informed in a press statement.
Like other stores of Bhat-Bhateni Supermarket, daily essentials goods including clothes, cosmetic, electronics, furniture, grocery items will be available in the Tripureshwore store.
Bhat-Bhateni Supermarket Chairman Min Bahadur Gurung believes that the operation of the new store will ease the shopping difficulties customers of the area. “Customer will get various items at reasonable prices,” says Gurung. According to him, the supermarket chain is planning to open two more branches outside the valley.
