Awaited models of HTC Smartphone Launched in Nepal

May 09, 2017:  The only authorized Distributor for HTC Smartphone in Nepal, Generation Next Communications Pvt. Ltd.has announced the launch of HTC U Play, HTC One X9 and HTC Desire 825in the market.The price of HTC U Play is Rs. 49,999, HTC One X9 – Rs. 28,600 and HTC Desire 825 – Rs. 18,900. HTC U Play is available in blue color while HTC One X9 is available in gold & grey colors. Likewise, HTC Desire 825 is available in grey and white color options.

HTC U Play
HTC’s U series marks a fresh start in 2017, with a new approach to design and aesthetics. The highlight here is the new ‘liquid surface’ treatment given to the chassis which, according to the company mimics the surface tension of liquid. The 5.2-inch Super LCD display has Gorilla Glass protection and a full-HD (1080 x 1920)resolution resulting in a pixel density of 428ppi. Brightness is excellent and so are the viewing angles.Powered by MediaTekHelio P10 chipset, 64-bit octa-core affair, clocked at 2 GHz. The phone boasts some 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage, as well as expandable memory up to 2 TB.The 16-megapixel rear and front camera features PDAF and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) with an f/2.0 aperture that captures very good detail even when the light isn’t too favorable.Video recording tops out at 1080p for the front camera as well, and has features like screen flash, timer, and smile- or voice-triggered capturing.Other shooting modes include Zoe camera, which shoots a still and three seconds of video; panorama; and a pro mode. HTC One X9
HTC One X9 seems more in line with the company's Desire range. The One X9 has an all-metal rear that looks more impressive and makes it very clear that the handset is meant to be a little more premium.The front is dominated by glass that curves around the edges. We get the three backlit capacitive buttons below the display for Back, Home, and Recent. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass in front. The dual speaker grilles at the top and bottom of the front panel are well designed and add to the phone's looks. There's a 3.5mm audio jack on top, while the Micro-USB port is on the bottom.The One X9 features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Super LCD display with a density of 401ppi. The display to be bright and crisp, color reproduction is decent with good black levels and acceptable sunlight legibility. The dual HTC BoomSound speakers and Dolby Audio Surround enhancement make watching videos and playing games enjoyable.The HTC One X9 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. There is 32GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable by up to 2TB using a microSD card. There is a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel camera at the front with 1.12 UM Pixels in both. The phone comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels. Powered by 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a micro SD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the HTC Desire 825 packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies. It runs Android 6.0 and is powered by a 2700mAh removable battery.The HTC Desire 825 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Micro-SIM.
