Yamaha Celebrates 70 Years of Global Legacy with Community-Focused Events in Nepal
Kathmandu – Yamaha marked its 70th global anniversary with a series of meaningful celebrations in Nepal, joining the worldwide observance of Yamaha Day on July 1. With the theme “Bridging Old and New, Through Kando Actions,” the milestone recognized seven decades of innovation, performance, and passion shared by Yamaha fans across generations.
In Nepal, Yamaha commemorated the occasion with purpose-driven initiatives that reflected the brand’s deep-rooted values. A blood donation drive at the Yamaha BlueSquare showroom in Naxal was organized by the MAW Foundation, while a tree plantation program at the MAW Auto factory emphasized Yamaha’s commitment to environmental sustainability. One of the most heartfelt events was the Yamaha BlueStreaks Rideout, which ended with a community service activity at Ni\:sahaya Sewa Sadan, an old age home in Shantinagar, Kathmandu. These efforts highlighted Yamaha’s goal to go beyond mobility and give back to the society it serves.
Celebrations were held nationwide with cake-cutting events at all Yamaha showrooms, bringing together customers, employees, and partners. Additionally, road safety training sessions were conducted for students at Techspire College, reinforcing the brand’s dedication to responsible riding.
