NAIMA’s Nepal Mobility Expo 2025 Set to Launch 35 New Vehicles, Becomes Country’s Largest Automobile Exhibition
Kathmandu – The much-anticipated NAIMA’s Nepal Mobility Expo 2025, Nepal’s largest automobile exhibition, is set to take place from August 6 to 10 (Shrawan 21 to 25) at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, with over 35 new vehicle launches and participation from more than 50 major brands. A press conference was successfully held on Monday to officially announce the event, hosted by the Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA).
Executive Director of NAIMA, Raj Kumar Dulal, opened the program by welcoming journalists, sponsors, members, and partners, highlighting the expo’s vision and objectives. Committee member Gaurav Sarada spoke about the expo’s importance for Nepal’s evolving mobility landscape, while Auto Expo Committee Chief Shirish Kumar Murarka shared key updates on this year’s event logistics and offerings.
Murarka emphasized that the expo will be hosted at the centrally located Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Grounds, which have been significantly upgraded with improved infrastructure including drainage systems and disabled-friendly access. This year’s showcase will include a strong focus on electric vehicles (EVs) and cutting-edge mobility solutions, with 15 two-wheelers, 15 four-wheelers, and 5 commercial vehicles set to debut during the event.

NAIMA has also launched a special online competition inviting the public to submit videos related to the mobility expo. One standout submission will receive NPR 100,000, while the top 10 videos uploaded between August 6 and 10 will each win NPR 10,000.
Expert Panels and Knowledge Sessions
The expo will also feature daily knowledge sessions and expert panel discussions. On the opening day, Anil Keshari Shah will lead a session on the theme “Tomorrow” from 2 PM to 5 PM. Throughout the week, experts from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University, the Ministry of Education, National Planning Commission, Ministry of Finance, and India’s Institute of Road Traffic Education will participate in panel discussions exploring the past, present, and future of mobility in Nepal and South Asia.
Commitment to Education and Sustainability
A unique feature of the expo is its commitment to education. Five percent of all ticket sales will go toward providing scholarships and fellowships in the field of mobility, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT).
NAIMA President Ritu Singh Vaidya concluded the press conference by thanking the media and partners, expressing confidence that Naima Nepal Mobility Expo 2025 will solidify its place as Nepal’s most influential automotive exhibition.
