March 16, 2017: The Secondary Education Exam – the transformed examination of School Leaving Certificate – has begun throughout the country.
The examination is taking place first time after the amended Education Act stipulated grade up to 12 as secondary level education.
Total 538,182 examinees including 259,732 boy students and 278,450 girl students are attending the examination from across the country. 1,923 exam centres have been set up throughout the country.
35,510 is the highest number of students appearing in the exams from Kathmandu Valley. Manang has lowest 62 students appearing in the secondary education exams.
